When we ask our Campers what keeps them coming back to ‘Camp’ Camp year after year, we get the same response that first-time Campers give when we ask what surprised them most about Camp: the people. So it’s pretty obvious that the fun & friendly community of LGBTQ people that make Camp an annual destination plays an integral part in that whole “best time ever” thing we’ve got goin’ on!
And ‘Camp’ Camp 2019 isn’t going to be any different. As of July 13th, we have 231 Campers hailing from 33 states here in the U.S., along with three Canadian provinces, the U.K., the West Indies, New Zealand, and the Czech Republic. Ranging in age from 22 to 78, this summer’s Campers will be traveling to southwestern Maine from the following cities & towns around the world:

If you don’t see your hometown listed, there’s only one way to change that: register today! We only have 6 Camper spots still available, but it’s not too late to discover for yourself why so many of our Campers & Staff continue to make ‘Camp’ Camp their annual vacation destination. Join us! (On a budget? Grab one of the last few Staff positions available and come to Camp for as little as $325!)

The Family Equality Council, or FEC, works every day to fulfill their vision of a future where all LGBTQ families, regardless of creation or composition, live in communities that recognize, respect, protect, and value them, a world in which every LGBTQ person has the right and the opportunity to form and sustain a loving family, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or the intersection of these characteristics. And, importantly, they work to realize systems of service and support that are free from discrimination and that maximize opportunities for LGBTQ youth needing permanency and LGBTQ adults seeking family formation through adoption, foster care, assisted reproductive technology, or other means.
