Absolutely!!
Art: Block Printing This fun class utilizes easy-to-cut rubber blocks to create unique monochrome and two-color prints on paper. Learn how to make art prints or greeting cards using a relief block printing method where you can be as simple or detailed with the image and carving as you want. It’s all up to you!
Art: Concrete Teddy Bears Join us in the Art Barn as we execute, disembowel, and dissect stuffed animals and fill their tiny carcasses with cement. Get in touch with your inner Frankenstein and make a fun, adorably freakish ornament for your garden, home, or lawn.

Collage art is full of potential and limitless possibilities in materials, themes, compositions, and expression. Discover your inner artist in this fun and forgiving technique.
Art: Figure Drawing Explore the magic of expressing yourself through drawing the human figure. Designed as an outlet of expression through drawing and not a measure of how well you can draw, the class will offer fun for the novice or advanced artist and will include instruction, a series of timed poses, and a little bit of gentle feedback.
Art: Oil Painting Let the Camp landscape be your inspiration as you utilize small canvases & oil paints to tap into your inner Monet. You’ll learn the oil painting process step by step, including the mixing of colors, underpainting, adding glazes, and scumbling. Though a great class for beginners, all skill levels are welcome. And no matter your skill level, you will have a Camp-inspired piece to take home with you by the end of class!
Art: Printmaking In this two-part class, you’ll learn how to make a limited edition set of multi-color prints with a “suicide plate.” This fun process of reductive-relief printmaking utilizes an easy-to-cut soft rubber block, creating an image with 3, 4 or 5 colors all from the same plate. No matter your skill level, at the end of the week you’ll have a series of ten multi-colored ready-to-frame prints or a set of ten gift cards! It’s all up to you!

Well, in this introspective class, you’ll explore the self using 2D mixed media, collage, and acrylic paint to create a self portrait which combines the real and the surreal, compositing your outer and inner selves and expressing them on canvas.
Art: Write a Picture & Draw a Story In this fun class your canvas will begin with the page of an old book, and your story will be created by selecting text from the page and using mixed media (collage, paint, ink, leaves, etc.) to cover up the remaining text to “write” and illustrate your tale. You’ll be surprised and delighted at the unique and poetic things hidden within mundane and ordinary writing. Allow yourself to get lost in the process and discover what story leaps out at you from the page and begs to be told creating a unique piece of art – and Camp souvenir – in the process.

LGBT History Join your fellow Campers for an interactive & engaging experience exploring various topics essential to understanding the LGBTQ community’s place in and contribution to history. Focusing on the culture, events, and people from three historical periods – before, during, and after Stonewall – you’ll return home with a greater appreciation of our community’s legacy and your part in it.
LGBT History: Spotlight on ’70’s Sisterhood Regardless of your gender or when you came of age, chances are that trends that women built in the 1970s have had an impact on your point of view. Let’s talk about it! We’ll revisit conversations among women that provided inspiration and impetus for social change, and proof that “Sisterhood is Powerful.” Let feminist poems and lyrics take you to a time when women had to start their own presses and their own record labels in order to be heard at all – when bookstores, conferences, festivals, and pot-lucks brought women together to come out, share ideas, and organize for change in intersecting aspects of public and private life.
LGBT History: Today’s Trans Kids What does genderqueer mean? If you’re transgender, does that mean you’re gay? One of Camp’s founding members, Jeff Perrotti, works with schools, camps, and families to foster resilience and positive outcomes for LGBTQ youth. The co-author of the book, When the Drama Club is Not Enough, Jeff also runs a camp for student leaders – complete with buddy bags, bandanas, and rainbow groups! Join Jeff for a discussion of his work and ways we can all support LGBTQ youth.
Mindfulness Meditation Join us to learn to meditate or deepen an existing practice. Participants will explore mindfulness meditation through discussion, exercises, and various meditative techniques. Meditation is simply training the mind to pay attention in a sustained fashion, without judgment or reactivity, in order to build ongoing awareness. That awareness can transform everyday life, making us calmer, more engaged and less reactive. The focus will be on both sitting meditation and informal practice in everyday life. The slower pace of life at Camp provides an ideal backdrop for such informal practice. Classes will include fun “homework” assignments intended to facilitate mindfulness during Camp activities.

Camp’s resident, real-life rocket scientist will lead you through the step-by-step process of creating your very own air projectile in anticipation of the official rocket launching ceremony on Friday afternoon!

If it really gets going, maybe some full court action will happen, too!

Can you help your team capture the opposing team’s flag wig and bring it safely back to your team’s base without being tagged? Well, come out to the Soccer Field to find out! Frolf Is it Frisbee – or is it golf? Well, it’s a little of both! Instead of using clubs to hit those pesky little balls into tiny holes in the ground, come out and play a nine-hole course using Frisbees and suspended hoops.

Past offerings have included Devil’s Den, a short-but-pleasant hike with moderate elevation perfect for inexperienced hikers, the longer, nicely challenging Burnt Meadow Hike with some steep rocky bits, and the intense, for-advanced-hikers-only all-day hike up New Hampshire’s beautiful Mount Kearsarge North.
Kickball Bet you haven’t played this one in years, have you? Everyone’s playground favorite is gaining in popularity with adults throughout the U.S., so we thought we’d revive it ‘Camp’ Camp. Since it’s probably been a while since you’ve played, we’ll first review all the rules – and then the balls will fly! If you can kick, you can play. (In other words, everyone is welcome.)
Lawn Sports Sure, everyone has heard of badminton and croquet, but have you ever heard of a Chernobyl gambit or a feint? Do you know which game they apply to? Come on out to the lawn sports courts and test your knowledge of these traditional summer favorites during structured and unstructured play. Volleyball Brush up or learn new skills in a morning Volleyball Clinic, then put ’em to use during one of the popular pick-up games before dinner. …“Spike it, Peaches!”

Yoga A series of postures and movements which stretch and tone the body, performed slowly and deliberately while focusing on the breath and quieting the mind. While most appropriate for beginners, the class can also be enjoyed by those with a more advanced yoga practice.
