Well, the sad news is that, due to COVID-related issues/concerns, ‘Camp’ Camp will be virtual for the second year in a row in 2021. The good news? We learned last summer that Virtual ‘Camp’ Camp is way better than no ‘Camp’ Camp at all — so we’re giving five lucky LGBTQ humans the chance to join us for Virtual Camp 2021 for FREE!

That’s right: we’re taking a page from past summers when we were able to gather in Maine and giving away some FREE Virtual ‘Camp’ Camp during our 2021 Best Time Ever Giveaway! Five lucky winners will win FREE access to the virtual version of America’s premier summer camp for LGBTQ adults this August 22-29, allowing them to get a little taste of what makes ‘Camp’ Camp the best time ever right from the safety & convenience of their own homes.   

Have you been dying to join us in Maine for ‘Camp’ Camp? Well, obviously, Virtual Camp is not quite the same as experiencing ‘Camp’ Camp in person (there’s nothing like that!) — but everyone who joined us for Virtual Camp in 2020, including some folx who had never been to Camp before, told us their week was the best (virtual) time ever! In fact, we heard from a number of people that Virtual Camp and ‘Camp’ Camp Plus actually made them look forward to joining a Zoom session! (You’ll find some testimonials about Virtual Camp 2020 here.)

This offer comes with absolutely no strings or secret catches. We’ve done previous giveaways for a free week at ‘Camp’ Camp in Maine, and many of our previous Best Time Ever Giveaway winners returned for at least one more year. Once they discovered for themselves that ‘Camp’ Camp really is the best time ever, they just had to come back for more! And our fun week of online, summer camp-inspired programming is a great way to get a taste of what a week at ‘Camp’ Camp in Maine is like, especially because you’ll get to meet some of the folx who make up Camp’s fun & friendly LGBTQ community. 

Here are the Giveaway Rules:

1. Members of the LGBTQ community age 21 & over who have never been to ‘Camp’ Camp may enter the Giveaway. Those who have attended ‘Camp’ Camp in the past or who have already registered for Virtual ‘Camp’ Camp 2021 are not eligible.
2. Virtual ‘Camp’ Camp 2021 is August 22-29, with most programming beginning at 12 noon EDT and running through the late evening. (You can find a working version of the week’s programming here.) While we don’t expect winners to take the week off to join us for Virtual Camp (though some of our Campers are), please do not enter the giveaway if you aren’t genuinely interested/available in joining us that week so you don’t potentially take away the opportunity from someone who is.
3. The Giveaway is good for a Full-Access pass to Virtual Camp 2021, a $125 value. Camp’s virtual programming takes place via Zoom. For best results, we recommend accessing each session via a laptop or desktop computer, though tablets and smartphones will also work. We do have a volunteer tech crew that can assist participants in getting set up on Zoom, etc. if need be. 

To enter, simply complete our easy online Best Time Ever Giveaway Entry Form by midnight E.D.T. on Wednesday, August 11. Then, on Thursday, August 12, we’ll select five (5) entries at random and those lucky humans will get to experience their choice of Virtual Camp’s online activities, social events, game nights (and more!) – and meet a great community of LGBTQ people from across North America. All for free!

Complete rules & restrictions for ‘Camp’ Camp’s “2021 Best Time Ever Giveaway!” :

1. The 2021 Best Time Ever Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by ‘Camp’ Camp II, LLC d/b/a ‘Camp’ Camp (“Camp”).
2. Anyone age 21 & over who identifies as gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, queer, non-binary, or genderqueer who has yet to attend ‘Camp’ Camp in Maine are eligible. Those who have attended Camp in any capacity prior to 2021 or who have already registered for Virtual ‘Camp’ Camp 2021 prior to August 1, 2021 are not eligible.
3. All entries must be submitted via the Giveaway’s official online entry form before midnight E.D.T. on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Incomplete entry forms or submissions via other means (e-mail, Facebook posts, text messages, etc.) will not be eligible to win.
4. All contestants understand & agree that the contact information collected via their Giveaway entry form will be added to Camp’s e-mail marketing list if it is not already a part of said list. (Camp does not sell or distribute their mailing list to third parties.)
5. Five (5) winning entries will be selected at random on Thursday, August 12 and announced on Camp’s Facebook page and via Instagram. The winners of the Giveway (the “Winners”) will also be notified personally via e-mail and/or text message.
6. Winners will each receive a Full-Access pass to Virtual ‘Camp’ Camp 2021, a value of $125. This pass to Virtual Camp 2021 is not transferable to another individual and is only applicable towards Camp’s 2021 virtual programming happening August 22-29, 2021. 
7. Winner must agree to all Camp rules & regulations, etc. via electronic submission of a 2021 Virtual ‘Camp’ Camp Registration Form available at campcamp.com/register. Winner must submit their registration form no later than August 15, 2021.
8. The Giveaway is currently scheduled to end on Wednesday, August 11, 2021; however, Camp reserves the right to extend the deadline for entries and/or the date of Winner selection.
