We’ve always tried our best to make ‘Camp’ Camp accessible to as many people as possible. If our regular registration fees are out of your budget, you should consider joining our Staff.

Our version of a sliding scale, our Staff Program allows folks to exchange hours worked during the week of Camp in exchange for reduced registration fees. Depending on the position and the hours required for the week, you can join us at Camp for as little as $475! About half of the people at Camp in any given summer are on Staff to one degree or another, and — like our Campers — about 75% of them return for at least one more year. That tells us that our Staff have the best time ever at Camp, too!
We’ve opened our Staff Application process now that registration is open. Please review the next section carefully for details on applying — especially if you were on our Staff last summer.
Full details on our Staff program, including a link to our online Staff Application and a list of currently available positions, can be found here on our website. While most Activity Instructor positions do require specialized training or specific experience, we also offer a number of Operations positions that allow you to contribute just by being willing to pitch in, whether it’s in the Dining Hall or on our Logistics Team.
how to apply
If you were a member of last summer’s Staff and would like to return in the same position, we highly encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. We can’t guarantee we’ll have your same position at the same staff level available for you unless you apply before March 5. If you need more time to finalize vacation requests, etc. before you can apply, please e-mail the Camp Directors.
If you were a member of last summer’s Staff and already know you cannot return this summer, please e-mail us ASAP so we can release your position for another applicant.
If you’re a returning Camper and are applying for a Staff position for the first time or are new to Camp and interested in joining our Staff, the earlier you can submit your application the better as some positions will fill up quickly. Please be aware, however, that it may be after March 10 before you hear from us. We traditionally give returning Staff first pick at their past Staff positions, so we’ll need to confirm who is returning before we know for sure which positions will be available.

Whether you’re a first-time applicant or returning Staff, please note that it may be at least 2 weeks before you hear from us regarding your staff application. We plan to prioritize processing Camper registrations during the usual initial rush that occurs when registration first opens.
If you’re applying for Staff and anticipate wanting to reserve one of our private/semi-private cabin options as discussed on the newsletter’s registration details page, the Staff Application now includes a section towards the end of the application where you can note your interest in booking a private/semi-private cabin. Since they are available on a first-come/first-served basis and did sell out quickly the past two summers, we’ll review all staff applications as they’re received to see if the applicant has expressed interest in reserving one of these cabins. We’ll e-mail you if your requested cabin option is available, so you can make a deposit to hold the cabin for you prior to officially being confirmed for a position. (This deposit/fee is fully refundable if, for any reason, we determine we do not have a Staff position for you and you do not wish to attend Camp as a Camper.)
Whether you’re new or returning to Camp, please be sure to review your confirmation e-mail thoroughly once you do receive it. The confirmation e-mail will include updated information on recommended/latest-possible arrival times and other important details related to our new location.
If you have any questions about being on Staff or on the application process, feel free to e-mail us.
