‘Camp’ Camp generally happens the third week in August of each year. In 2013, we’ll be gathering in southwestern Maine beginning on Sunday, August 18 for one incredibly fun week. Campers & Staff all depart on Sunday, August 25 which is strictly a departure day. Our all-inclusive Registration Fees cover all your activities, meals and accommodations for the week, as well as complimentary transportation from Portland (Maine) International Airport or Portland bus or train stations.

Registration Fees for ‘Camp’ Camp 2013 are $1150* and include everything you will need for a great Camp experience – all for less than $200 a day! While your Registration Fees cover all the basics you’ll need for a great week, some off-site excursions (if/when offered) may involve additional fees. We also have a Camp Store and offer some “premium” services like private massage that involve additional fees. We do offer the opportunity to charge all of these items to your credit card through our Cashless ‘Camp’ Camp program, so it is unnecessary to bring large amounts of cash with you to Camp. Details on how to sign-up for Cashless ‘Camp’ Camp will be provided a month or so before Camp begins in your Pre-Camp Information Packet.
*All fees include a 7% Maine Use & Lodging tax.

If our regular Registration Fees are out of your budget, please consider applying for a position on our staff. About half the people who attend Camp each year are part of our staff and pay reduced fees in exchange for working at Camp. Depending on the position and the hours required, you could come to Camp for as little as $225! easy online registration & payment plans
Registering for ‘Camp’ Camp is easy! Just go to our sign up page and read it carefully: it tells you everything you need to know. Our easy Online Registration Form begins at the bottom of that page, and an Online Payment Form will automatically follow once you’ve submitted the Registration Form. We require a minimum deposit of $300 to reserve a space for you at Camp – or you can submit a full payment of your registration fee. You will then receive a confirmation email with further details. All balances must be paid in full by July 15. We generally require payment in full for all registrations received after July 15, but feel free to email us if you need other payment arrangements.
We now offer affordable monthly payment plans to make it easy to pay your Registration Fees. The sooner you register, the lower your monthly payments will be! Simply answer “Yes” to the Installment Payment Plan option question on the Online Registration Form, submit your $300 deposit to hold your space at Camp – and we’ll automatically charge the balance due in equal monthly installments between receiving your registration and July 15. (A $25 Payment Plan Administrative Fee will apply.) For questions or more details on setting up a payment plan, please call 347-453-5257 or email us.

getting to camp
We happily provide complimentary round-trip transportation from Portland (Maine) International Airport, as well as from Portland bus and train stations. Parking is also available if you wish to drive to Camp; however, parking space is limited, so we do recommend carpooling whenever possible. Our Transportation Manager is happy to assist you in arranging carpools with other Campers from the New York City or Boston areas if/when available. Driving directions along with the exact address for our host camp will be provided a month or so before Camp begins in your Pre-Camp Information Packet.
E-mail our Transportation Manager for further assistance and suggestions regarding transportation to Maine, including which airlines may offer the best fares into Portland, Maine.
The ‘Camp’ Camp Campership Fund allows those with a financial need to attend Camp by assisting them with payment of their fees. You may include a donation to the Campership Fund with your registration if you wish. (Donations to the Campership Fund are NOT tax-deductible.)
For details on applying for a Campership for ‘Camp’ Camp 2013, please email us. Please note, however, that Camperships covering 100% of your Registration Fees are not available. Camperships are awarded based on need and all recipients are required to contribute towards their Registration Fees and/or be a part of our staff.
